The Wahweap & Toadstool Hoodoos are wilderness areas in Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Utah, famous for their amazing hoodoos (balanced rock formations looking like mushrooms) set amidst badlands. The Wahweap Hoodoos are reachable via 9.2 mile/14.8 km roundtrip trail. I didn't see anybody else on the trail or around the hoodoos while there. The Paria Rimrocks Toadstool Hoodoos are much more visited, they require only 1.5 mile round-trip hike.

Buckskin Gulch, Utah is the longest and deepest slot canyon in the United States, and arguably in the world, and is also one of the most stunning and famous slot canyons. The 13 mile (21 km) canyon is at most places less than 10 feet (3.3 mt) wide, and its walls reach 400 feet (120 mt) at the deepest point.
