Taroko National Park stretches from the Pacific Ocean to the peaks of the Central Mountain Range, rising to over 3,700m/12,000ft. The main highlight of the park is Taroko gorge - stunning 19km/11mi long marble canyon. Many hikes in the park offer amazing vistas. There are 27 peaks over 3,000m/9,843ft in the park's boundaries.

Jiufen is a former gold mining town in seaside mountain area, an hour away from Taipei City, Taiwan's capital. Jiufen and the surrounding area are one of the top attractions of Taiwan, because of the beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean, the mountains and the town itself with its maze of lanes and alleyways, retro Chinese and Japanese style cafes, tea houses, and souvenir shops. Yehliu is a cape in Northern Taiwan, and the Yehliu geopark is situated on the cape. It is one of the most popular locations in Northern Taiwan. Yehliu Geopark is famous with its amazing hoodoos and many other types of strange geological rock formations. The most popular rock is the "Queen's head" (5:36), it has become iconic and attracts large crowds as the expectations are the head to crumble in several years from natural wear (without even counting the extra danger the tourists might cause by touching it).
