Seljalandsfoss is one of the most scenic and well known waterfalls in Iceland. It is 60 meters/200 feet high, it is possible to walk behind the falling water. There are several other falls nearby - most interesting of them is Gljúfrabúi, partially hidden in a small canyon.

Dyrhólaey Cape and Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach are located in Southern Iceland near the village of Vik. Dyrhólaey is 120 m/390 ft high promontory and natural reserve with many birds nesting on its cliffs. The Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach provides scenic views of Dyrhólaey, and to the nearby impressive basalt sea stacks Reynisdrangar.

The three main stops on the Golden Circle route in Iceland: 1. The magnificent Gullfoss waterfall; 2. Haukadalur geothermal area (widely known as Geysir) - famous for its geysers and termal pools (Strokkur being the most active); 3. Thingvellir National Park, where the Icelandic Parliament was established in 930, and where the continental drift between Europe and North America can be easily noticed.

Mývatn is a lake in Northern Iceland, the name is used also for the stunning and diverse surrounding area of volcanic origin.
