Edinburgh has been the capital of Scotland since 1437. The city is a UNESCO Heritage Site and is renowned for its history, architecture, and many iconic landmarks such as Edinburgh Castle, Royal Mile, Holyrood Park, Calton Hill, and Arthur's Seat.

Stonehenge is the most architecturally sophisticated prehistoric stone circle monument in the world and one of the world's greatest enigmas; it is located nearby Salisbury, in Wiltshire, England. Stonehenge was probably constructed from 3000 BC to 2000 BC and was presumably a religious and burial site, and also used for observing the Sun and the Moon.

Stonehenge was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1986.
